Public programmes, properly credited

Cabanga TV is a curated index of public video. Apart from Cabanga TV originals, the programmes on this site are published on YouTube by their owners - broadcasters, institutions, companies, schools and creators - and are shown here through YouTube's own embedded player, as their publishers have allowed. Cabanga TV does not copy, download or re-host any third-party video.

Every programme names its source and links to the channel that made it. The work belongs to them.

With respect to our sources

This library exists because African business is being covered seriously on screen. We acknowledge the channels whose work appears most often here - CNBC Africa, CGTN Africa, africanews, SABC News, Channels Television, NBC Digital News, TEDx Talks, News Central TV, Al Jazeera English, KTN News Kenya, NTVUganda, FRANCE 24 English - and every other publisher in the library. Curating their programmes is a recognition of their journalism and their production, and every view on Cabanga TV is a view of their work, counted on their channel.

Selection is not endorsement

Programmes are chosen for their relevance to the African business reader. Choosing a programme does not mean Cabanga TV, Cabanga Africa Group or the twelve editions agree with its views, its claims or its sponsors. The opinions in each programme are those of the people in it and the channel that published it.

Not financial, legal or investment advice

Nothing on Cabanga TV is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Programmes discuss markets, companies and opportunities in general terms. Take professional advice before making a decision that depends on them.

Availability can change

A publisher can remove a video, make it private or switch off embedding at any time. When that happens the programme stops playing here and we take it out of the library.

Removal and credit requests

If you own a programme in the library and want it removed, re-credited or described differently, email info@cabanga.africa with the programme link. We act on owner requests promptly and without argument.
