The short version
You can watch everything on Cabanga TV without an account and without telling us who you are. Your watch list lives in your browser, not on our servers. We only receive personal information when you choose to send it to us.

Cookies and similar storage
Cabanga TV itself sets no advertising cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for the watch list and an offline copy of the site so it works as an app. Programmes play through youtube-nocookie.com, which keeps YouTube from setting cookies until you press play; once you play, YouTube's cookies and policy apply. If analytics is switched on, Google Analytics sets its own cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. It is shared only with the services that make the site work - our host, Google Analytics if switched on, and YouTube when you play a programme - and with authorities where the law requires it.
Where it goes
These services may process information outside your country. Where they do, we rely on the protections the applicable law requires for cross-border transfers.
Your rights
Under the Botswana Data Protection Act, 2018, South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), the GDPR where it applies, and the laws of the other markets we serve, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, and complain to your data protection authority - in Botswana, the Information and Data Protection Commission; in South Africa, the Information Regulator.
Children
Cabanga TV is a business service for adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information about them.

Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
